  • You need to slide the seats as much as possible and also adjust the seat backs to be as upright which will allow more space.
  • Check the traffic when ensuring the space.
  • Now open the hatch or doorway and remove everything that taking up space and use cargo straps for holding the entrance closed.
  • If the mattress is heavy then don’t be shy to get help from others and grab the mattress from both sides and place the top against the SUV cargo space opening.
  • And push the mattress and bend the sides to make a U shape.
  • After folding your mattress, start sliding the mattress in it until it reaches the front seats.
  • Now you can use ropes to tie the hatch latch hoop that is on the bottom of the door.
  • After that, you can climb into the front seats while another person holds the hatch door closed against the mattress.
  • Ask your helper to toss the rope to you and tie the rope to anything available.
